Our roots are in Lueneburg. Here, the first Seminaris Hotel was inaugur ated in 1978. Why here, in this city on the north-eastern fringe of t he Lueneburger Heide? There are several reasons. One is the city i tself. The lovingly restored old town, 1000 years old, presents itsel f today, while on the other side the pulsating life of the young uni versity town is an appealing contrast. And the closeness to Hamburg, the gate to the world, means for us: we already have one foot inside ! Only 40 minutes by car to the city of Hamburg.
