This stylish hotel is located in the heart of the medina (old town) in the Azbetz district. Within around 8 minutes guests will reach the famous Djemaa El Fna Square and the tourist centre. In around 2 minutes guests will reach the particularly lively souk (market) and Marrakech Museum.
The air-conditioned hotel was built in 1850 and renovated in 2006 in a Moroccan style. Each room had individually adjustable air conditioning added and the hotel now also features a small pool in the central inner courtyard, shaded by the orange trees. This city hotel also includes a terrace and 2 floors with a total of 8 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, safe, a bar, a summer restaurant, conference facilities and a WIFI access point, as well as room and laundry services (charges apply).When checking in at the airport guests should try to be among the first passengers in line, as otherwise it can take a long time (up to an hour). Landing cards must be filled in on arrival and departure (usually distributed on board the aircraft). Please contact the hotel on arriving at the airport and reserve a taxi in advance through the riad, to help make the transfer easier. For safety reasons plunge pool and jacuzzi no kids under 8 are permited.Guests can take a taxi from the airport (Petit Taxis are slightly cheaper than normal ones). Taxis will take guests to Ben Salah Square, from where they should follow the signs for Azbetz. From here it is the third street on the right, around a 1-minute walk. Please call the hotel staff if there are any difficulties, and they will be happy to pick up lost guests. Taxis from the airport can be something of a challenge and drop guests a long way from the hotel, so guests are Highly recomended to contact the hotel and organise a pick up in advance. They should contact the hotel as soon as they can with their arrival time and flight number, as well as their arrival time, and details as to whether dinner will be required on the arrival day. The hotel catering must be arranged in advance. Please keep the hotel phone number as well and call to annouce any delay for the pick up as they are quite regular.
