This luxury hotel is situated in some of Dublin's most beautiful surroundings, fronting onto the sandy beach and overlooking the Irish Sea. The hotel is only about 30 minutes from the city centre and is housed in the tastefully converted old family home of the Jameson's, made famous by their Irish whiskey business. The centre of Portmarnock, with its nightclub, station and beach, is 5 minutes away by car and it is a 10-minute drive to Malahide, where guests will find shops, bars and restaurants. Dublin airport is around 8 km from the hotel.
The hotel has incorporated the old house into the new building and comprises a total of 137 bedrooms, overlooking the sea on one side and with garden/ golf course views on the other side. Drive along the Quays for approximately 250 m. At the first set of traffic lights take a left, but move into the right lane. Drive under the bridge and at the Y junction immediately in front take a left onto Amiens Street. Drive straight ahead. Continue along North Strand Road, and straight ahead onto Clontarf Road. Drive straight along Clontarf road for approximately 8 km. Take a left turn for Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links (clearly signposted). Continue through Baldoyle, past the church on right hand side and straight on towards Portmarnock. Follow the signs to Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links. As guests drive through the village they will see a row of houses on the left on an incline and at the top of the incline the hotel gates will come into view on the right.
