General Information
Pension Prague City offers nice and inexpensive accommodation in Prague centre. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city centre of Prague and 10 minutes walking from the very centre of Prague – the Old Town.
A good starting point for your trip around Prague. You can easily reach most of the famous Prague monuments in just a few minutes. If you don't feel like walking, you can take tram lines Nr. 5, 9, 26 (Nr. 55, 58 after midnight) as well. The Husinecka tram stop is situated just in front of a Viktorie Zizkov football stadium, and is about 150 m from the pension.
In the neighbourhood ithere is a lot of restaurants and bars with a large offer of typical czech meals and czech beer as well as international cuisine. Cheap prices are tempting to young visitors of Prague.
The neighbourhood also offers a various social culture life. Right beside the pension is the famous theatre Zizkovske divadlo Jary Cimrmana. Nearby there is a large park called Riegrovy sady.
Close to the pension lies famous hill Vítkov. In the time of Hussite wars Vítkov witnessed a fabulous event. 14.7.1420 under leadership of Jan Zizka husits beat down the crusade army there. Today the biggest statue of a leader on a horse in the world stands here.
Each of 40 comfortable rooms has private bath with shower and toilet (some rooms also have bathtubs), free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, night lamps, some of the rooms including 4 attic roooms are equipped with air-conditioning.
The quality of accommodation is very good. Rooms are bright and clean, beds made up with fine linen.
FREE WI-FI Internet connection: Wi-Fi wireless internet in rooms and everywhere in the whole hotel area free of charge. PC with ADSL internet access is available for guests in the reception area also completely free.
At the reception you can also ask for coffe and tea making facilities (fast boiling kettle), hair dryer, iron, alarm clock, free of charge.
Guests can borrow a mobile phone to use in their rooms and anywhere else in the city for their entire stay free of charge (refundable deposit is required).
The receptionist can help you with almost anything including arranging tickets for tours and attractions (city tour, boat trip or a route by coach, opera and theatre tickets, car rental, etc...).
