The Parador is located in the aristocratic town of Ubeda. Situated in the town's Renaissance square, next to some of the most beautiful buildings in the area, the Parador is in a former palace built in the 16th century which belonged to the dean of the Sacred Chapel of El Salvador. The exterior facade gives no indication of the beautiful inner cour tyard with a double gallery of which the upper part is glazed and has the guest bedrooms leading off. This area is reached by a very grand s taircase from the reception floor. The friendly and comfortable bedrooms are large with decorated tiles on the floor and antique furniture. Six of the bedrooms and the suite look onto the Plaza de Vasquez of w hich the palace formsone side. The dining room is furnished in Andalus ian style and serves international and regional dishes.
