Novotel Aachen Europaplatz was built in 1980 and the exterior is undistinguished. Though clean in design. The lobby is dominated by orange, blue and brown in typical Novotel style. From the hotel it is a short walk to the impressive carolus thermal - a spa and recreation centre - tickets are available at the hotel reception.
The rooms are also typical Novotel with the standard arrangement comprising one queen-sized bed and one comfortable sofa bed and a neutral beige and cream colourscheme. The hotel has recently been renovated and is in very good condition.
