The resort is located on Bintan Island, Indonesia, a 55-minute ferry journey from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore. Bintan lsland is the largest of 3,200 islands in the Riau Archipelago and the 3rd largest of 27 provinces in Indonesia. Located at the crossroads of one of the world's oldest and busiest maritime trading routes, Bintan has provided a safe haven to traders and sailors from Europe, India and China for over a century.
This beach front resort exudes an ambience which is delightfully soothing and laid back. Set in a picturesque bay with a pristine beach and clear aquamarine waters, the resort comprises rustic beachfront chalets, all with private verandas offering a choice of sea or garden views (32 garden view and 20 sea view). The hotel has a lobby and a reception desk offering services such as a currency exchange, a safe and baby-sitting services. There is also a souvenir shop. Bar, dining and conference facilities are also located on site. There is also a laundry service (subject to fees).Guests should be aware that Bintan is 1 hour behind Singapore.Guests need to take a high-speed catamaran from Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT). The journey to Bintan Island takes about 55 minutes. The transfer to and from the ferry terminal will be provided by the resort. The resort should be informed in advance as to when guests are arriving so that the necessary arrangements can be made for the transfer. Please note - there are no buses or taxis on the island.
