This hotel is located only 20 m from the beach in the heart of Mamaia, a resort in the northern part of the Romanian Black Sea coast, one of the largest holiday areas in the country. The hotel's excellent setting, its sea or lake views, the fine golden sands caressed night and day by the sea breezes, the crystal-clear waters of the Black Sea, and the relaxing and exclusive atmosphere are only a few elements that transform this hotel into an exceptional place. Guests will reach the casino in Mamaia in 800 m, Constanza in about 4 km, the casino in Constanza in some 17 km, the historic district in 16 km, and the aquarium in about 17 km.
The family-friendly hotel, formerly known as Bucharest Hotel, was taken over by the famous Romanian footballer Gica Hagi in 1999. Considerable investment and a modernisation programme were undertaken and two years later, on 4 July 2001, a brand new hotel appeared on the map of Mamaia. The beach hotel, which consists of a main building and a neighbouring building, is spread over three floors with a total of 98 rooms, including junior suites, double rooms, apartments, and a terrace. Guests are welcomed in the lobby area of this air-conditioned establishment with a 24-hour reception, safe, cloakroom, currency exchange facility, and lift access. Further facilities include an Internet connection with W-LAN access (charges apply), a cafe, a newspaper stand, a selection of shops, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a nightclub, a TV lounge, a restaurant, a breakfast and dining room, and a conference room. Younger guests may let off steam in the play area, and both room and laundry services as well as medical assistance round up the facilities on offer. Those arriving by car may make use of the car park and garage.
