Hotel Ancora is situated in an emerald valley ringed by the Dolomite Alps. One of the oldest hotels in Cortina (built in 1826), the hotel is built in the characteristic Ampezzano style with wooden balconies and intricately carved and painted interior details.
The atmosphere of the hotel is that of a private home. Owners Flavia and Renato Sartor have infused the interiors with their personal touches and fine antique furniture creating an elegant historic ambiance.
The hotel also sponsors a literary and artistic salon hosted by the well-known writer Milena Milani. The salon offers exhibitions by illustrious painters, sculptors and other artists as well as conferences and cultural debates.
The guest rooms are decorated with traditional mountain comfort gilded by numerous refined details. The views of the Dolomite Alps are breathtaking.
