Grand Hotel del Gianicolo is a luxurious Rome retreat that enjoys a truly stunning location. The road leading to the hotel winds its way along the crest of the Gianicolo hill, shaded by splendid umbrella pines. It is lined by busts of Garibaldi's men and a monument of Garibaldi himself, followed by that of his wife Anita.
