Centerhotel Studios is situated just off Reykjavik's main shopping street Laugarvegur in a narrow side street. It is for the most part a peaceful location, but can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. 1 kms to city centre, 50 kms to the nearest airport (keflavik international).
This well located property offers comfortable, practical accommodation suitable for every type of guest. The large rooms are particularly well suited to families.
The lobby is really little more than a tiny entrance hall with a desk in it. This is quite an old building by Reykjavik standards with an attractive white facade. The hotel has no restaurant, nor even a breakfast room so a boxed breakfast is served to the room at a time specified by the guest the night before.
The rooms vary in size, but all but a few are large. They are decorated simply with wood laminate floors, cream coloured walls and light wood furniture. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in very good condition as are the modern bathrooms, and almost all rooms also benefit from having modest cooking facilities.
